Grand Marnier sq

meringue shells sq

  1. Cut strawberries to desired size and sprinkle with sufficient Grand Marnier and icing sugar, leave to macerate and chill for one hour
  2. Fold into the mascarpone
  3. Break up the meringue shells and fold through
  4. Spoon onto plate to serve or serve in an appropriate glass

Originally this dish was made with whipped cream.

For variations replace:

  • strawberries with berries of choice, a combination of berries
  • use frozen berries
  • Grand Marnier with a liqueur of choice
  • or add mini marshmallows, grated chocolate or other treats
