valentine's day recipe:

lamb rump chermoula

ingredients

medium onion 1 pc
garlic cloves 2
chopped parsley 4 tbs
chopped coriander 4 tbs
olive oil 6 tbs
lemon juice 2 tbs
saffron 1/4 tsp
ground cumin seeds 1 tsp
paprika 1 tsp
chilli powder 1/2 tsp

  1. In processor, blend all ingredients to a smooth paste
  2. Rub in well to meat
  3. Marinade overnight in refrigerator
  4. Remove from marinade
  5. Seal in a hot pan and finish in a pre-heated oven (200°C) until cooked: approximately 10 minutes
