Soup doesn't come any easier than this, it is also a quick and
nutritious meal, especially if served with a nice bread, or slices of cheese on toast or a toasted sandwich.

From this basic recipe even the novice can make a whole range of
soups, simply by changing from mixed frozen vegetables to a
vegetable of choice, cauliflower, sweetcorn, carrots, etc,

Try threes simple additions too

cauliflower add some grated cheese
carrot replace 100ml of stock with orange juice
sweetcorn add some left over roast chicken
