- Warm butter in a large saucepan
- Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and add to the
butter, cook gently until it changes colour and turns
white on the outside
- Add the soup, the cream and the sweetcorn
- Simmer on stove for approximately 10 minutes, add the
remaining half a can of soup if preferred
- Pour into a casserole or pie dish
- Cover with the mashed potato or the cheese pastry
- Bake at 170°C for one hour
chef notes:
Grated cheddar can be sprinkled over the top of the mash
before
baking if preferred.
