- Melt the butter over a low heat, add chopped onions
- Cook for 10 minutes
- Add the mince, increase heat slightly and cook for 5
minutes
- Add the stock powder and flour, mix in and cook for
2 to 3 minutes
- Add the tomatoes and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
- Add the frozen veg
- Pour into oven proof dish
- Make instant potatoes as per instructions
- Spread over the meat and sprinkle over the cheese
- Bake at 180°C for 30 to 40 minutes
chef notes:
Garlic paste can be added when cooking the onions if
preferred.

pie is made with
minced lamb (shepherds after all look after sheep not
cows).
