- Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt
- Finely chop suet and rub into flour
- Add water until a firm paste is obtained, form into
3cm balls
- These may be added half way through the stew's cooking
time
chef notes:
A whole or half clove of garlic may be pressed into each
dumpling before cooking, alternatively most herbs: rosemary,
chervil, coriander, etc may added.
