caramelised bananas

  1. Melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat
  2. Add the sugar and juice
  3. Simmer while stirring until it evaporates and reduces to a sticky consistency
  4. Peel bananas and cut in half
  5. Place into the sauce, spoon over the sauce and warm through for 2 to 3 minutes
  6. Serve with ice cream or mascarpone
