    Grated cheese etc for cooking is fine straight out of the fridge, but an eating cheese will taste better once the chill has been taken off.

  • blue cheese and honey

    Most if not all blue cheeses taste wonderful when eaten with honey. Of course the better quality the cheese is the better quality the honey should be.

  • mouldy cheddar should be discarded

    False

    Unless it has been left far too long, the mould should only be on the surface of the cheese. Trim it away and the cheese below is perfectly edible and indeed safe to eat.
