desserts - cold recipe:

chocolate sorbet

ingredients

vanilla pod - split 1 pc
skimmed milk 500 ml
water 250 ml
sugar - light brown 125 gm
dark chocolate 250 gm
cocoa 50 gm

production

  1. Combine all ingredients
  2. Place over a medium heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes to melt chocolate and infuse all flavours
  3. Remove vanilla bean and scrape seeds into milk
  4. Allow to cool
  5. Place into ice cream machine
  6. Churn until frozen
