desserts - cold recipe:

how to line a cake tin

  1. Grease the cake tin so the paper will adhere to it

  2. Cut a strip of silicone paper slightly longer than the circumference of the tin and approximately 6 cm higher

  3. Fold it back about 2.5cm along its length

  4. Snip it at an angle at intervals up to the fold

  5. Lightly oil/butter and flour

  6. Press the paper around the sides - the snipped edge will overlap on the base of the tin for a snug fit

  7. Cut a circle out - using the tin as a template

  8. Lightly oil/butter and flour

  9. Fit over the snipped paper over the base
