york baked cheese cake
ingredients
graham
crackers 2 cup
ground cinnamon 1 tsp
butter - melted ½ cup
Philadelphia 450 gm
eggs 3 pc
castor sugar 100 gm
vanilla essence 1 tsp
sour cream 300 gm
flour 3 tbs
sugar - castor 50 gm
vanilla essence 1 tsp
production
crust:
- Combine the crackers (crumbed), cinnamon and butter,
press into the base of a 20cm spring form pan and set
aside until required
filling:
- Combine the cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence
until smooth and pour over the crumb base
- Bake in a pre-heated oven (165°C) for 20 minutes
- Remove and allow to cool
- Increase oven to 200°C
topping:
- Combine the sour cream, flour, sugar and vanilla essence,
spoon over previous layer
- Bake again in a pre-heated oven (200°C) for another
15 minutes
- Remove and allow to cool
- Refrigerate overnight before removing from the spring
form tin
chef notes:
Graham crackers are plain English style cream crackers.
