desserts - cold recipe:

new york baked cheese cake

ingredients

graham crackers 2 cup
ground cinnamon 1 tsp
butter - melted ½ cup
Philadelphia 450 gm
eggs 3 pc
castor sugar 100 gm
vanilla essence 1 tsp
sour cream 300 gm
flour 3 tbs
sugar - castor 50 gm
vanilla essence 1 tsp

production

crust:

  1. Combine the crackers (crumbed), cinnamon and butter, press into the base of a 20cm spring form pan and set aside until required

filling:

  1. Combine the cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence until smooth and pour over the crumb base
  2. Bake in a pre-heated oven (165°C) for 20 minutes
  3. Remove and allow to cool
  4. Increase oven to 200°C

topping:

  1. Combine the sour cream, flour, sugar and vanilla essence, spoon over previous layer
  2. Bake again in a pre-heated oven (200°C) for another 15 minutes
  3. Remove and allow to cool
  4. Refrigerate overnight before removing from the spring form tin

Graham crackers are plain English style cream crackers.
