banana

butter 125 gm
eggs 4 pc
flour 375 gm
milk 500 ml
baking soda 20 gm
baking powder ½ tsp
bananas 2 - 3 pc
vanilla essence sq
production
- Cream together the sugar and butter and then add the
beaten eggs gradually, and put to one side
- Blend the bananas with the milk and vanilla essence
(in a food processor)
- Sift together the flour, baking soda and baking powder
- Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a well
greased cake/loaf tin
- Bake at 180°C for 40 - 60 minutes or until a small
knife comes out clean when inserted into the cakes centre
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin for
5 - 10 minutes
- Turn out gently onto a cooling rack to thoroughly cool
chef notes:
If your mixture appears to separate when adding the beaten
egg, just add a little of the sifted flour from your recipe
and continue to mix, this
will hold your mixture together.
