desserts - cold recipe:

fresh apple cake (all in method)

ingredients

butter 125 gm
grated apple 3 pc
brown sugar 120 gm
flour 240 gm
sultanas 200 gm
chopped walnuts 60 gm
egg 1 pc
baking soda 1 tsp
mixed spice 1 tsp
cinnamon 1 tsp
nutmeg ½ tsp
salt ½ tsp

production

  1. Melt the butter and allow to cool
  2. Place the grated apple into a stainless steel bowl, sprinkle with the brown sugar and pour the butter over the top and mix well
  3. Add the egg and mix well
  4. Sift all dry ingredients together and then mix in, fold in the fruits and the nuts
  5. Pour into a 25 cm buttered cake tin
  6. Bake at 180°C for 45 - 60 minutes
