125 gm
grated apple 3 pc
brown sugar 120 gm
flour 240 gm
sultanas 200 gm
chopped walnuts 60 gm
egg 1 pc
baking soda 1 tsp
mixed spice 1 tsp
cinnamon 1 tsp
nutmeg ½ tsp
salt ½ tsp
production
- Melt the butter and allow to cool
- Place the grated apple into a stainless steel bowl,
sprinkle with the brown sugar and pour the butter over
the top and mix well
- Add the egg and mix well
- Sift all dry ingredients together and then mix in, fold
in the fruits and the nuts
- Pour into a 25 cm buttered cake tin
- Bake at 180°C for 45 - 60 minutes
