desserts - cold recipe:

oat meal biscuits #01

ingredients

oatmeal 720 gm
flour 200 gm
salt 3 tsp
baking powder 2 tsp
castor sugar 4 tbs
butter 260 gm
milk 400 ml

production

  1. Place all dry ingredients and butter in a robot coupe and pulse until combined
  2. Add the milk and mix for 2 - 3 minutes
  3. Remove and roll out on lightly bench to 2mm thickness
  4. Cut as required
  5. Place on lightly buttered and floured trays
  6. Bake at 180°C for approximately 15 minutes

chef notes:

These are very brittle in texture and need to be handled with care
once cooked.
