vegetarian recipe:

dahl with spinach

ingredients

water 500 ml
milk 500 ml
peanut oil 75 ml
red lentils 500 gm
onion (chopped) 1 pc
curry leaves 6 pc
garlic cloves (sliced) 2 pc
cloves 2 pc
cumin 2 tsp
turmeric 1 ½ tsp

  1. Lightly sauté the onion and curry leaves
  2. Add spices
  3. Add lentils and garlic
  4. Add water and milk and gently simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently
