use this term lightly here.
Pastas, of course scream Italy, Italy, Italy. It says romance
and ancient traditions. I use the word here to describe any
type of noodle or starchy, carbo high style dish, such as
the German spaetzle, dumplings, gnocchi or Asian noodle dishes
Professionally we would use the term farinaceous.
